Dr. Moritz Scharff

Moritz is PowerON’s Senior Development Engineer Soft Robotics and head of development and in charge of the general technical product development. In 2016, he graduated as Mechanical Engineer (M.Sc.) from Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany and Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Peru. In continuation of this cooperation, he studied the mechanics of haptics and tactile sensing in bio-inspired robotics in a bi-national doctorate/PhD (Cotutelle de thèse). After finishing his doctoral studies in end of 2020, he joined PowerON beginning of 2021.
